Parkergates’s Privacy Policy


The security of personal information is extremely important to us and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy sets out how we look after our guests’ data. It explains what information we collect when you make a booking or an enquiry with us. 


Making an enquiry about a holiday:

We need to collect details from you in order to answer your enquiry about our holiday cottages or the services we offer.

The information that we need to hold is likely to include your name, contact details, information about your enquiry and/or booking and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements.

We will then use the information you provide to manage your enquiry (or to help us to provide details or other information you may have requested).


Making a booking: 

We need to collect details from you in order to make a booking at one of our holiday cottages.

The information that we need to hold is likely to include your name, contact details, information about your booking and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements.

The information you provide may be used to enable us to complete your booking. This information may also be used to provide that booking to you in accordance with our booking terms and conditions.

In order to provide your booking to you we may share your information with credit/debit card companies. Card Payments are processed by HolidayRentPayment - your card details are not retained by Parkergate Cottages.


What is not included in our Privacy Policy?

This privacy policy relates to guests of Parkergate Cottages. It does not relate to employees of Parkergate Cottages, or third parties who we may need to work with to deliver our services (such as cleaners, handymen and other suppliers). 

This privacy policy does not cover other organisations which we use to advertise our products and services.

Our website also links to websites and social media belonging to other organisations. This privacy policy does not apply to how those other organisations use your data, so please make sure you check their privacy policies before giving them your personal information.


Consent & Contract

Where you give your consent for us to hold and process your data (either by making an enquiry or booking with us or by signing up for emails) then you only need to contact us to inform us to ask us to stop processing your data and/or to delete (to the extent possible) all your personal data (unless we are required by law to keep specific details).

Please note that where you make a booking to stay at one of our cottages, then we need to retain your information in order to process your booking and as such we won’t be able to delete your personal information until after your stay.

If we are asked by the police, law enforcement agency or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities, we may need to disclose and exchange information with that authority to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. Please note that we may disclose your personal data without your permission to the extent that we are required to do so by law or regulation or in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
