• The cottage is heated by oil fired central heating.
• Electricity & Oil included in the price.
• The beds will be made up for you and towels are provided.
• A basket of logs is provided for the open fire. Further logs can be bought at £3 per basket.
• The cottage is non-smoking.
• Pets welcome at £15 per pet.
• For guests staying a full week, a welcome pack with home made cakes is provided.

General:
Upon entering this barn conversion stairs lead down to Whinlatter Cottage where you are welcomed with home made cakes and biscuits. The sitting room is on the ground floor and has an open fire, TV & DVD player and french windows leading out to the patio which has fantastic views towards Bassenthwaite Lake and the fells beyond.

Dining is in the sitting room and the kitchen area is just beyond this. It is fully equipped with cooker with ceramic hob and electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of storage space.

A shower room is also downstairs and then upstairs there are three bedrooms – one single, one double and one twin. There is a second bathroom up here with bath and shower over.

There is a shared games room with a table tennis table and a choice of books to borrow. There is also a separate washer and dryer room (with coin operated washing machine and dryer) which is shared with the other cottages at Parkergate.

BLACK MOSS:
SLEEPS 5

This cottage is the mirror image of Whinlatter. They both have dishwashers in the kitchen, together with electric hob, oven and microwave oven. They are both accessed through the arched doorway on the lowest court yard.
