Our daughter Sally and grandson, Yens have bought a house in Cockermouth. This means that we now have her flat to offer for self-catering holiday accommodation from Easter 2010.

The front door is at the top of the steps leading up by the front door of the main house. It has a lovely balcony with a stunning view towards Bassenthwaite Lake and the fells beyond. The main living room has a fully fitted kitchen with Lakeland slate work- surfaces and. Electric cooker. Dining area, and sitting room with TV and DVD.

Leading from the living room are 2 bedrooms, one has either twin beds or a super king-size bed. The second bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine floor with a double bed. There is a huge bathroom with bath and shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

All of the accommodation is centrally heated.

Saturday-to-Saturday occupation. £450 per week / £350 short breaks - from Easter 2010.

Everything included towels tea towels bed linen heating and cooking.

Drying room and laundry is over the courtyard in the big barn. Gardens and parking available as other cottages.
